Chip Kelly is my choice. Would love to see those idiots, Canzano and his lacky, when they realize they are banned from UO again.

Based on the names being thrown around, only Fleck seems like a potential game changer. The others (WV's Holgersen, Florida's McElwain, BSU's Harsin, OSU DC Greg Schiano, UCF's Frost) seem like lateral moves or complete gambles.

Frost isn't a gamble, he's a bad choice. Vernon Adams wasn't brought here because there was a lack of talent but because the talent hadn't been groomed. Frost is fine for UCF but is a step back for Oregon.

I said this a month or so ago and got some heat for it, but I still would love for Oregon to make a run at GRUDEN! I think he would be a game changer. That being said I imagine that We have a better chance at Chip then Jon.

While I don't think we have a chance at either, Gruden at HC would be really interesting.

Probably an instant recruiting surge with all his ties and charismatic personality. Would definitely be interesting no doubt about it.

I also got some oceanfront property in AZ for you then if you think that's even a possibility.

The only thing he had going for him is that he is a very good recruiter. But he couldn't win at Texas I don't see him all the sudden turning it around at Oregon.

Seems Samie Parker is pushing for either Frost or Fleck.

No, NOT Scott Frost.

He's the person most responsible for us not having a solid backup to Mariota. Why bring back a guy who repeatedly failed to develop QBs?

Lincoln Riley is an interesting candidate. And he wouldn't command as much money as other candidates, which might soften the blow from Helf's buyout.
Willie Taggart is a dick.

But is everyone really going to be willing to take a chance on someone in their early 30s who has no HC experience and only 6 years of experience as an OC? I'd rather have Fleck if they're choosing between two 30-something year old coaches.

It's funny to me that people are so turned off by Frost just because of the QB stuff. Seems a bit short sighted. He has all the markings of a great leader and head coach. He's already turned UCF around and will likely have a power5 job in a few years. There's more to being a HC than teaching throwing technique.
