Agree, don't want Brian Kelly or Kitten.
The Kelly rumors don't add up to me, sure his seat is going to be a little warm next yr. make no mistake whomever Oregon brings in will be expected to win now and compete for a playoff spot in 2-3 if Uncle Phill is willing to pay out of his own pocket (rumor)for a home run hire

If he can't do it with the talent that throws themselves at ND each year what makes ANYONE think he can come here and compete. Sorry I truly just don't get it. Please help if someone else does.

Brian Kelly is the only guy I would be truly disappointed with. Really hope we are not going after him.

Brian Kelley would be a complete failure, you fire a coach for going 4-8 then bring in a coach that went 4-8 this year? There is absolutely no way Kelley is being considered!

Sorry guys, but again, this isn't a thread for people do discuss coaches who aren't even going to get an interview. That's for literally every other thread. We keep perspective here.

Not sure if this has already been said but Clownzano about an hour or so ago on his radio show said it has been confirmed the Ducks have been in contact with PJ Fleck but did not offer anything more than that.

Bruce Feldman tweeted that Willie Taggart of USF is emerging as a strong candidate.

This is click bait but Stewart Mandell was on the radio a bit ago saying the same thing so who knows? it could be to fulfill the Oregon state law to interview a minority candidate.

Yeah the more meaningful part of my post is Bruce Feldman's tweet, the story was just some quick background I found. Didn't look too hard on that.
Willie Taggart is a dick.

One positive of hiring Brian Kelly would be his familiarity of both USC and Stanford, whom he plays annually at Notre Dame. I think Kelly is an excellent coach, as does Mike Bellotti, who stated as much on ESPN a few months ago.

I'd be happy with Brian Kelly, Chip Kelly or Jim McElwain.
