Apparently it's the first time the Lady Ducks have been ranked since 2003. I have a feeling we're going to get very accustomed to it, though. The Ducks' only loss this season is to now #5 Mississippi St. on a neutral court.

Lady Beavers fall out of the rankings for the first time in a couple of years, to "26th."

Ducks now play at Clemson and Ole Miss, this afternoon and Wednesday afternoon, respectively. Neither team is receiving votes in the AP poll, but it will be good experience for the Ducks at playing (far) away from home.

Being ranked ahead of the beavers is always fun.

Saw on twitter it's her second triple-double in her first nine collegiate games.

I don't think there's any two ways about it. The Duck women are a good team, maybe a REALLY good team. They've done everything to this point one could ask of them, and then some. Really looking forward to see how they match up with some of the traditional Pac-12 powers, starting with currently #11 UW at MKA on December 30.

Ducks finally unexpectedly lose Wednesday, 83-67 at Ole Miss. An uncharacteristic number of turnovers by the Ducks seems to have been the main culprit.

But might be just the kind of experience this good young team needs to let them know what they need to work on.

Next up is Portland State Saturday evening at the Moda Center, a game I plan to see at least a portion of in person.
