My thoughts exactly! Probably still has some decent relationships down there and has a wealth of different experiences.
He's coached at a crap ton of places. He's coached at CAL and San Jose State so theres Norcal connections that was lost with Dougherty leaving, he has Mississippi on his resume, and lastly Oklahoma. Oklahoma State taps on alot of recruits from Texas correct? So the Texas connections should be there. He has experience in the west and south so that fits the bill.
I'm guessing he spent a lot of time in Texas during his time at OSU
9 of their signees from the 2017 were from Texas...so I'd say so...

But he'd only been at Ok State for one recruiting cycle, yes? Sure it's some experience, but only a little. Better than none though.

Edit: My bad, it was most likely 2 cycles. So that's getting somewhere.

Also a pretty good track record working with QBs. He does have some connections in Oregon. In his bio it says his wife used to play volleyball at Southern Oregon. I guess I can see it happening. Out of curiosity if you don't mind me asking. Where did you hear this?
I don't want to sound like an a$$ but I really can't say. My friend told me about Taggart before I heard it from anyone else and was also right about Leavitt. I trust him and just wanted to pass along the info. He doesn't know the exact role he is being considered for. He can coach WRs or QBs, he has experience with both.

I'm willing to entertain the possibility your friend is right. Haven't heard it from anywhere else, so this is probably a pretty good test. Does he have anything to say about Dameyune Craig?
Yes, I am willing to entertain the possibility of your source. As 5$ said, this is the only place that has started he is a possibility going forward. Reading through his credentials he seems to be a good X and O's type of coach. Offensive staff would be pretty good with him and Craig

QB: Craig/Arroyo
RB:Pimpleton
WR:Craig/Arroyo
TE: ? Gilbertson?
OL: Cristobal

Good blend of experience and recruiting I would say if this is true.
This is an excellent blend. Arroyo has experience at the Pro level with QB's/WR's as well as OC experience. Doesn't hurt that he might provide or enhance our vertical game with what he picked up at OSU and his time with Tedford and the Buc's. Norcal & Texas Connections. Craig has excellent ties throughout the south and credibility with the kids. Arroyo and Cristobal work on game planning, WT calls the plays and we recruit like MF's. Can't wait.

Craig is almost a done deal unless something drastic happens at the last minute.

Another boost to recruiting. I expect a very nice class next year.

According to a tweet from Feldman (https://mobile.twitter.com/BruceFeldman ... 0452561920) Arroyo is on his way here to be the PGC/QB coach. So big props to Madsduck for his intel.

This also means that Taggart must have decided he wants Craig to coach WRs. My guess would be he becomes the other OC in order to actually get him here.

At this point there isn't a lot of options for Craig. Before he wanted say to much money, but now that he's been fired, and our WR coach left it seems the price might be right for him.

According to his OSU bio his wife played volleyball at Southern Oregon prior to a transfer to San Jose State. Wonder if her family is in the area.

Wouldn't that make him Japanese and not Hawaiian?

According to Wikipedia, at one point 43% of the Hawaiian population was of Japanese decent.

According to his bio, Chow is part Chinese, Portugese, and Hawaiian. Not sure why people thought he was Japanese when his last name is a very common Chinese surname.
