Brooks is infuriating at times.

He does EVERYTHING!Kyle's Brother wrote:Bell is an animal. Not the most skilled player, but holy s*** we've never had anyone like him before. One of my favorite players of all time. I'm praying he comes back.

Tell me about it. I just did day one of a two day stress test on my heart. My chest hurts now! The Ducks better win it all if they're gonna kill me.Bigwaved wrote:Holy smokes that was a fun one to watch, although my bp is waaaayyy high now. Bell willed them into the next round!greenyellow wrote:DUCKS WIN 69-68!!! ADVANCE TO THE ELITE 8!!!
What a game. Oh, and I totally agree about free throw shooting becoming a huge liability. They've got to clean that up.

I'm worried about his confidence right now. He's definitely in a slump.Phenom wrote:Brooks is infuriating at times.

Thank you. I get it now.thomas time wrote:they fouled at the end cause they weren't in the penalty, they still had one or two left to give. Bell was huge with those rebounds late, Ennis has to make those ft's down the stretch.
I just made this huge sigh of relief.

It was weird seeing him pass up an open 3 or drive at the end of the shot clock and instead passed it to Benson.Tray Dub wrote:I'm worried about his confidence right now. He's definitely in a slump.Phenom wrote:Brooks is infuriating at times.

Missed FT man. Have to make those if we want to make it to the F4. But great, great win.

Game Thoughts:
Good:
BACK TO BACK Elite 8's, WOW
JORDAN freaking Bell-Guy has been as big of a PROGRAM changer as anyone. Hope he comes back next year to develop his jumper.
-Tyler Dorsey is still hot.
-Dylan Ennis driving
-Defense was pretty damn good against a GREAT offensive team, and we held them to 68 points!!!
Bad:
KBW was pretty awful today. When he was in our defense just dropped so much. Thought he would improve game to game, but, that was..oof
PP and Benson were not good again.
A few mental errors leading to open 3's during Michigan's mini runs.
FT shooting
Dylan Ennis SHOOTING Dude hasn't hit a 3 pointer or had a smooth looking FT all tournament. Needs to relax a little. Looks incredibly tight.

Man, I was ready to throttle Ennis for missing both of those front-end one-and-one shots. Thank goodness Michigan missed that shot. Maybe think about putting Pritchard in in those situations henceforth?

I remember back when we were recruiting Jordan Bell, and poster northbeach was talking about how he was going to be a program changer and he couldn't have been more correct!Kyle's Brother wrote:Bell is an animal. He's like Kazemi, but blocks shots on top of that.
Kazemi was an even better rebounder, actually and good defender, but we only had him 1 year.

Maybe if Pritchard was playing better, but he isn't. Benson also got beat quite a bit at the end. Need better play from all those guys.Phalanx wrote:Man, I was ready to throttle Ennis for missing both of those front-end one-and-one shots. Thank goodness Michigan missed that shot. One other note. Reggie was criticizing our press, but we forced SEVEN first half turnovers and I think a LOT of quick and awkward shots that Michigan normally doesn't taken with it. We really disrupted their flow. Great stuff from Altman.
