Uniforms for 2017

Interesting that they are using "Win The Day" on the uniform.

Rob Moseley said on twitter that the use of WTD was a direct request by one of the kids who helped design the jerseys.

Call me cold hearted, but that is just a whole lotta ...meh. Especially since they will be using them in their HOME game against Nebraska correct? Which will have a big national tv audience, usually those marquee games oregon rocks the all yellow or classic green. Love the idea dn love the wings. Also good luck seeing the numbers when youre more than 3 rows up.

Halfies agree. You can still represent a good cause and do it looking good.

With that being said, these aren't the worst. Curious though to what our regular jerseys will look like.

These unis are great, hope it's how the unis all look minus the writing on the pants and duck on the sleeve. Way better than the crap we sported last year. Those yellow jerseys look like a flock of ducks just crapped on the sleeves as they flew by. Would I like to see a green jersey at home? Of course, and I hope they come out with one.

A little background. OHSU has the Knight Cancer Institute that was created a handful of years back and recently, Uncle Phil pledged to donate an additional $500M to the cancer battle if OHSU received $500M in matching donations, which they did in relatively short order. There is a $200M+ research facility going up on the South Waterfront called the Knight Cancer Research Building being built with state funds.

I work at OHSU and with the Peds area so I'll see if I can find anything out about the gear or helmets. I'm happy I might have an excuse to wear Ducks gear at work now.

I think the unis are fresh! Love the backstory. My son has played on the same football team with Joe over the last couple years. He is such a gentleman and you'd have no idea he went through such hell by how he carries himself. Kid is also a beast on the field.
