#11 in the picture above is Eddie Pleasant, not Bralon Addison. Bralon’s first year at Oregon was 2012, whereas the picture above is from 2011, Pleasant’s senior season.

As I predicted a few days ago, the Ducks will be in black/green/black tonight:
Another really solid combo, IMO. So far every combo this season has looked pretty good.

I do have a couple buddies connected with the football program, so occasionally I’ll get some insider info, but not this week. For example, I knew about the new yellow helmets before the season started, and then shortly after the season started I found out about the new white jerseys (though I didn’t quite know what they’d look like). And early last week I was informed about the combo for the ASU game, but this week I didn’t have any knowledge of the combo other than them testing out the fit of the black helmets during practice and calling for fans to wear green tonight. Using those pieces of information is how I came to the prediction of them going black/green/black, and also the fact that it’d be somewhat of a throwback to the 2011 pro combat uniforms that were worn against the Golden Bears.

Dope looking. I love how even when we are wearing black and white these days, there's still plenty of green AND yellow in our uniforms. Love that.

Taggert did say the team would wear school colors when he was introduced.

Looking ahead to Saturday night, I’m expecting the Ducks to reprise either of these jersey/pant combos from last season:

Rather than going with the black helmets again, I’m thinking they might go with the chrome wings or the yellow helmets. Personally I’m hoping for either all-yellow or chrome/yellow/yellow because they’d be slightly reminiscent of the combos worn in 2013 against Tennessee and 2014 against Michigan State. I could also see them going chrome/yellow/black and saving the yellow helmets and pants for the Stanford road game the next week.

Oooo, hope they pass on those yellow jerseys. I LOVE the bumble bee look, but I'm not sure how that design got approved (looks smeared and the opposite of crisp/clean).

Yeah those wings were horrible. Jerseys so far this year have been solid.
