They don’t have white helmets in rotation this season. They got rid of the glitter helmets, and it seems like the new white lids are just being used for practice.

Matte white would look so bad

Yes, they got new white helmets this summer and used them throughout fall camp and now throughout the season, but it seems like they’re just being dedicated for practice use rather than game use, similar to how they used to have a set of glossy dark green helmets that were only used for practice.

Back to the traditional home combo tomorrow:


The only difference from the Week 1 combo is that they’re going with the white and yellow Doernbecher cleats instead of the green, black, and yellow cleats, and the Duck head logo is being used for the nose bumper instead of the green ‘O’.
