Kanter is an elite center at 26, still improving. Hated to trade him but I needed to shed some salary and get some younger talent in the door.

I'm happy with the deal. Plenty of young talent, don't really need Collins or the (hopefully non-lotto) pick I gave up. Ersan hasn't been a part of my DC.

Kanter gives me some more scoring and rebounding from the C position. He's also A- defense which fits well with what I've been putting together.

Man I remember in my last days as the Spurs GM, Ilyasova killed me. Had it all, just wouldn't shoot...

my recurring problem with Barnes, shot 53.7% from 3 last year. Just wouldn't take enough of them, even as an offensive focal point.

Cant process as the Lakers will go over the hardcap with this transaction.

If you add Williams or Davis to the deal, then Lakers will fine.
