Yeah, he is a Junior, so one less scholarship available next season. I mean, technically they could not renew his scholarship after one season, but that almost certainly would not happen.Phenom wrote:Does that mean 1 less scholly for next year or not?
The Ducks are not exactly short of scholarships to give out though. By my count, prior to Apelu getting a scholarship they had 74 scholarship players on the roster. 20 of those scholarship players are seniors, leaving only 54 scholarship players following this season. The scholarship limit is 85, so there are 31 scholarships to give out for next season. That number is now 30 with Apelu on scholarship.
