Best part of the win is that they were able to pitch a 2nd half shutout.

Overall very happy with what I saw, lots of fire on the D, awesome O, guys having fun on the sidelines. Yes we will know more after the Nebraska game, but a huge improvover last year imo. Great game! Fun game to watch. I missed that last year.

modern record 77 points a school record, nice to see us finally set a new one since they have been close several times over the last few years and the backups not get it. Good game for Benoit behind Royce, O line looked doing what they should against a fcs team.

This. Nebraska's new defense is trash. And, Tanner Lee is overrated.Duckattack7 wrote:Second half shut out!! I love it! And Nebraska looked like crap vs Arkansas state I can't wait for next week I hope we hang another 70 !

It was nice to see the backs put in work tonight and that Coach T pushed them into late quarters to get sets and reps. I'm pleased Coach told the press what he saw in the defense and was realistic with corrections needed. I like the swagger. Last year was no Bueno.

The D gave up only 5.5 yards per pass attempt. Solid!
I get that the opponent wasn't very good. I also get that it allowed the play calling to remain vanilla and not show the playbook to upcoming teams.
Hooray for not sucky defense!!!

No doubt that is a better football team than last years. Loved the D they played with fire the offense is deadly too.

Glad to see that the D kept them under 100 total rushing yards for the game!

Just heard Taggart say in his presser he wished our guys played coverage tighter, that we're "backed off like we're guarding Randy Moss or something"... I'm speechless. I've been waiting for an Oregon coach to say this for literally more than a decade. THANK YOU

Just concerned about the penalties (including 3 pass interference calls on that one drive? Yikes!) but it is Oregon football, hope Coach T nails that down tomorrow during his post-game walkthrough with the team.
Glad to see this team rise up again, it's been a long 7 months of dealing with Huskies and Beavers on Kauai and now back on the mainland again.

That was fun again.
There's a few glaring issues on defense and at WR, but overall..that was fun again and that's great for today.

Solid win. When is the last time we took care of business like this against a lower-caliber opponent?
I thought before today we'd beat Nebraska next week. It's a game we should have won last year. Now I'm totally confident. Can't wait to see this team get mean!
