Oregon will win but I do not see them holding them to 10 points. There will be overreaction to this game for sure on both ends of the spectrum. Might get a glimpse of any improvement against Nebraska. Even if do hold Southern Utah to 10 points it will hardly merit a sign of drastic improvement. Oregon will pull their starters in the 3rd quarter.

Utah shut them out last season. 10 points or less would be a sign of big improvement to me seeing how bad the defense was last season.
I'm incredibly excited for this season opening cupcake. More so than I expected for a game with Southern Utah. The coaching staff, players, and Ducks marketing have done an incredible job of leaving last year's train wreck a distant memory.
I can't wait to gorge on Track Town, walk over to the stadium and scream my lungs out. Just listened to Shout to get my mind to remember the lyrics. Hoping for a dominant performance, something like that 72-0 New Mexico beat down. This team needs that to build up some confidence and get guys game reps in preparation for Nebraska and Wyoming. If Freeman and the first team is in beyond the third quarter I'll be worried.
Royce got banged up early in the year against Nebraska and never fully recovered. Watch him in the Virginia game as opposed to the Cal game and he was a totally different player.

Just watch the Nebraska game before he got hurt, they couldn't stop him.
