And wasn't that at home? While not overly optimistic, definitely not ready to throw in the towel. USC always overrated and this year Stanford. UW appears to be the best in PAC-12. I don't think we can beat them. Any given day we could beat anyone else. Everyone beats OSU. We finish 7-5 or 8-4.lawduck wrote:This.UofDuck wrote:It took a miracle for WAZZU to beat a crappy BSU team too.

They haven't played a single road game yet.

Although WSU is clearly good this year, I'd argue that there is reason for optimism here solely on the basis of WSU beating USC last week. No coach is immune to letdown games - not even Nick Saban - and there are the classic features here:
1. WSU beat the most "prestigious" conference heavyweight at home in a special night game
2. WSU has to follow that up by going on the road as a now highly ranked unbeaten to face an underrated team (Oregon is higher in S/P+ than the polls) that they embarrassed last year but has clearly improved dramatically
I could be wrong, of course, but these sorts of games happen with enough frequency (and predictability) that it's impossible to ignore.

Moseley 10/1 practice report: http://www.goducks.com/news/2017/10/1/f ... oct-1.aspx
Looks like Sampson Niu and Demetri Burch are getting some reps with the main travel squad due to depth concerns.

Ducks are currently 2.5 point favorites. What am I missing?

I don't like betting against Oregon but this seems like easy money. So much more seemingly has to go right for us to win this game.Duck24 wrote:Ducks are currently 2.5 point favorites. What am I missing?

Well your not betting against Oregon winning, just winning by 1 or 2 pointsDuck07 wrote:I don't like betting against Oregon but this seems like easy money. So much more seemingly has to go right for us to win this game.Duck24 wrote:Ducks are currently 2.5 point favorites. What am I missing?
But agreed. This feels like free money.

Yeah that's surprising. I'm not saying Oregon can't win this game, but I feel like Wazzu should be projected by a score or two.lukeyrid13 wrote:Maybe Vegas knows that Braxton is a sleeper heisman contender lol. Moseley's tweet responses this afternoon regarding who ought to be the starting QB strongly assert that Alie is the better choice over BB at this stage. I'd like to believe that might mean Moseley thinks Alie might well be ready to go on Saturday (without actually saying it), but maybe that's reading too much into it.

He also once said Lockie was neck and neck with Adams.Greenblood wrote:Moseley's tweet responses this afternoon regarding who ought to be the starting QB strongly assert that Alie is the better choice over BB at this stage.
