1) We are two point favorites as of now.Duckattack7 wrote:I really hope they give Braxton the start unless they think Taylor can win us some games. If we really feel like we will be losing either way why not get the freshman some reps and game expirence? I think we will compete these next few weeks but I also wouldn't be surprised if we got blown out a few games. I'm excited though regardless of the outcomes.
2) No coach will ever feel like "we will lose either way".

I am glad you remember that play because Barner does'tDuck07 wrote:The play I remember was Barner on the kickoff return.greenyellow wrote:You sure about Darron Thomas missing a game against them? Darron Thomas missed a game against them, this is the 2nd time they get Taylor Allie...lucky fvks...

While getting to the QB will be important, sacking Falk a few times probably won't make much of a difference. The Cougs give up nearly 4 sacks a game and are below average even in QB Sacked % and it hasn't stopped them from winning. They know that, even when it happens, their offense dictates that they'll just get up and sling it again and again. Hopefully we can get very consistent pressure like we did against Cal.

How big of favorites would Oregon be with Herbert?

My guess is around -4.5 to -6.5 I think we would have won with Herbert but obviously that's not that case. It already shifted to -2.5 for Wazzu so money must be pouring in on them in Vegas.Duck24 wrote:How big of favorites would Oregon be with Herbert?

That usually isn't a good thing when you go up against players like Justin Hollins.Greenblood wrote:While getting to the QB will be important, sacking Falk a few times probably won't make much of a difference. lols. I was at Oklahoma vs WVU a few years ago (top 25 matchup), and Memorial Stadium was not loud at all. There were a few moments on 3rd down where it got a little noisy, but nothing more. Certainly not louder than Autzen, especially for a top 25 matchup.bigbenp wrote:

Well we know we aren't louder than Tiger Stadium and places like Kyle Field and Nebraska always show up in lists. Leach doesn't like us and he wasn't at WSU when our crowd was at its best. Hopefully the lean years help Make Autzen Loud Again and that the play of the DL combined with the crowd help lead to a lot of false starts, especially on 3rd and 4th down for the WSU offense. He's one of those coaches that's enjoyable to watch get out of his element and completely frustrated.
