Will Richardson Commits

People are suspecting that Richardson was waiting to see what Barrett was going to do before making his decision. He told some recruiting analyst that he'll be committing Thursday, after finding out that Barrett was going to Duke (freeing up early playing time at Oregon), and the Crystal Ball picks for Oregon have been flooding in on 247. He looks like a really solid player. Easily top 50 in the country. Shooting guard that moved to point guard this year. Really good handles, and a really nice looking shot. It looks like he can pull up and hit the three going to both his left and his right, which is more rare than you'd think. Looks like he has the athleticism to defend and rebound at either guard spot, too, which we all know is huge for an Altman player. He looks to me like a left handed Dorsey with better handles and a little more athleticism. I'm really hoping he commits on Thursday. He was considered a Georgia lock a few months ago, and there was speculation that he was trying to come to Oregon to play with his AAU teammate, Emmitt Williams, who was looking like an Oregon lock before **cough** being arrested for sexual assault **cough**. Richardson's final three are Oregon, Georgia, and Gonzaga. I'm guessing he commits to us, but I wouldn't be too shocked if he committed to Georgia now that Williams is definitely not coming here.
People are also speculating that Bol Bol might announce his decision Thursday. That recruitment is weird, though. Seems like something shady is going on. Bol just transferred to Findlay prep, where a Kentucky player's dad is the coach. A lot of people, including everyone on Kentucky's 247 board, still feel like Bol is an Oregon lock, though. Who knows. He feels a little bit like McCoy to me... Like the longer it drags out, the more likely it is he goes somewhere else. I'm still feeling positive about him coming to Oregon.
Fingers crossed on both of them. Landing Bol and Richardson would make this the most well rounded, highest rated class ever at Oregon. 4 top 50 recruits, with one at basically every position. Pretty crazy considering where we were when Altman was hired.
