Jonathan Smith as a Head Coach. A former quarterback for the Beavers. Interesting hire, id say.

We'll see if he can develop an offensive identity for them. I imagine at this point they are saying to themselves at least let's try to score some points and make it interesting/watchable. Seemed like Beau Baldwin was the strongest candidate, wonder if he stays still?

Baldwin would have been a better hire IMO. Supposedly Les Miles tried to reach out to the Beavs to let them know he was interested, if I were them I'd easily take Les over Smith. In the end it's their prerogative I suppose.

Think I was reading somewhere that Smith was the one who recruited Yankoff to UW. I wonder if he will follow to OSU now or stick with the Huskies.

This hiring scares me a lot less than had they gone with Beau Baldwin.

I agree, a few choices would have been better then Smith. Les, Baldwin, even slick Rick. I’m not impressed with the hire.
