If WT goes, then we'll hire (or promote) both a head coach AND an offensive coordinator.

So, let's say Cristobal gets promoted. Who would be a sexy choice of offensive coordinator who might actually move the needle for our offensive recruits? I'm actually not overly worried about defensive recruiting, as long as Capt. Pepsi stays put.

Meh. Honestly though, this means far less compared to WT leaving or not.

Vegas Bowl. Boise State.

A chance to fix two bad memories in one game. I like it.

The team can focus on crushing the Bronco's now and most of the coaches can relax and settle in to their roles. Now we can wait to find out what the new digs will look like.

This has suddenly become a super important and super exciting game. A chance to see how our guys respond to the new regime. I can't wait.

It'll be interesting to see how Arroyo calls a game versus WT.

This game just became a program defining moment.

While i think it will be a good for momentum going into next season with a bowl win....i don't want it to be a program defining moment. I think those moments come next year.

That being said...if we destroy Boise it will definitely be a big springboard.

If we lose though...won't be the end of the world......i really hope we don't lose lol.

One of the things I'm most interested in seeing.

By that I mean if the team buys into Mario, it will be mass destruction of Boise. That will send a message to all of d1, the ducks are not messing around anymore. Schedule at your own risk. If they don't, it was a lesson in what not to do. Personally, I'm calling it now, ducks by 30.

Any updates on whether Freeman is going to play? Are there any other potential holdouts?

He's playing in the SR Bowl, or one of those other post bowl draft games.

Personally I would like to see Royce and Tyrell sit. Crosby is probably a first or second round pick and has millions on the table. I don't think Royce will go in the early rounds, but he will get drafted.

It's just not worth it at this point. Also, I think it would be great to have Benoit as the feature back in this game. Dude has had a hell of a career for a guy that, lets face it, when signed most of thought he would transfer out after a year. He is plenty capable of carrying the load, and might actually have something to gain by a good performance.
