Someone who isn’t a dirtbag and won’t bring so much drama.

I’ve been hearing for a little while now from unreliable sources he’s leaving but I don’t personally don’t think anything of those sources. So I really don’t know, just a general statement that if Willie does leave then I wouldn’t want a coach like that here anyways.FlDuckFan wrote:Something you know that we dont? or just a general statement?OregonFan4Life wrote:Someone who isn’t a dirtbag and won’t bring so much drama.

OregonFan! Glad to see you're alive.
I'm super bummed about Taggart leaving because I really, really hadn't seen enough first- and second-down 2-yard dives up the middle.
I just arrived north of Seattle for a couple days of work... pulled over halfway here and saw Taggart #DidntReallyDoAnything.
Man, what a waste of time.
Probably the only person laughing harder than Willie right now is Mark Helfrich. Damn.
Haven't said this in awhile, but tonight really sucks to be a Duck.

It's great to be a Duck. Whether Taggart stays or goes, we will contend for a Pac-12 title next year as long as we have a good HC. I would prefer to keep Taggart but we will be successful as long as we don't go for the "safe" or dumb hire. Thankfully, the PKs are smart people and know the value of our program.

What about this for the coaching situation...
What if instead of trying to find a sexy HC (who might not be on the table at this point), what if we promoted Cristobal to HC and then hired a sexy offensive coordinator -- preferably a spread guru with better Xs and Os than Taggart had -- who'd work well with the existing staff?
Any names come to mind for that scenario?

If I had my wish Kingsbury would be a great pairing with a Leavitt defense but TTU decided to keep him another year. What about stealing Beau Baldwin from Cal?pezsez1 wrote:What about this for the coaching situation...

Kevin Sumlin. Great recruiter, ties to Texas, had decent success in the same division as LSU, Auburn, Bama.

The knock on Sumlin was he had no discipline on field or in the locker room. Said heDuck24 wrote:Kevin Sumlin. Great recruiter, ties to Texas, had decent success in the same division as LSU, Auburn, Bama.
was more of a friend then the head man. Just what i heard. The guy can recruit tho.
