I don't think Snyder would even hire him. It seems pretty clear that Snyder wants his son to be the next head coach and having Leavitt on the team would undermine his chances of doing that.

I'm hoping nepotism beats out sound football decisions.

No way will K-State be able to afford Leavitt as a DC, with an added $500,000 buyout since he wouldn't be HC. But we're going to have this Leavitt leaving monkey on our back for as long as he's on our staff. It's worth it for the improved defensive performance.
