OSU's Marie Gulich and Kat Tudor combined for 62 points, UO's Sabrina Ionescu and Ruthy Hebard put up 59, and OSU collected their 14th win in a row 85-79, over Oregon. Playing without Lexi Bando, a career high for Sabrina Ionescu, 35, including a 3 sent the game in to OT, and it looked like the Ducks had the momentum, but it wasn't to be. Kat Tudor was lethal all game, including 7-10 on 3's, and a lay-up that seemed to defy gravity in the 4th quarter. Gulich, with an unstoppable reverse move at the basket, finished with 28.

OSU shot the 3 lights out in the first half, but Oregon doesn't defend it well either. 85 points is too much to give up even in an overtime game. Oregon needs to recruit a defensive stopper or two before they will be able to get to the final four. Their offense is great, but KG needs to make them understand you get your offense from your defense when you are team like the ducks are made up of.

Extremely disappointing loss at Gill. Hopefully the girls can rebound tomorrow.
Throughout the "streak" they just have an enormous amount of difficult getting a relaxed rhythm. Ruth Hamblin and Marie Gulich's defense has just been a wall for all of the duck teams, and players like Tudor, Weisse, Weissner have been able to do whatever they want in these games.
We got to find a way to stop this momentum and make them feel uncomfortable.
