Andrew Greif is reporting the last assistant will be Alex Mirabal, an old friend and associate of Cristobal. Currently the OL coach at Marshall. Article from his local paper. http://www.herald-dispatch.com/_recent_ ... 81765.html

Did some reading on Mirabal, looks like he's done a great job at Marshall over five years there. Having known and worked with Cristobal for so long makes me confident that Mario knows what he's getting. It will free up Cristobal to focus on the whole team. Looks like a good hire.

I was worried that Cristobal was going to try to be the primary OL coach along with HC...I'm glad he changed his mind.

Kinda figured he'd hire Mirabal. His name popped up before Signing Day but for whatever reasons, they held off on the hiring. Think this likely keeps Gilbertson on as the main TE coach even though he's only a GA, although I could see him getting help from Bobby Williams.

With 3 OL coaches, maybe we will cut back on the false starts a tad next year?

and holding penalties

with Pisarcik gone we should see a vast improvement in the OL penalties column.
