Good deal for Pacers. Not sure I like it for Wolves. That wolves pick could be real valuable given Walls age

Lol you guys are great. If this was my trade it’d be:
“Seriously? When are we going to fire this guy”
“Bucks continue to cash in on trades they made seasons ago”
“We need to protect our gms”

Re: Timberwolves/Pacers
As constructed, TWolves would go over the hard cap and I wont allow that. However, if the TWolves add Mark Smith then they will be under by around 40K.eddy_zamora wrote:Timberwolves receive:

Then we run into the problem that the TWolves would only have 10 players and being cap locked essentially, they would need another trade to gain 3 players to get to a minimum roster count.
So this needs resolving, either with another TWolves trade to get to a minimum player amount or reworking this trade.

Re: Timberwolves/Pacers
*Reworked* I checked this all out on excel and it kept us both under the cap while also both having enough players. So the reworked trade will be:
Pacers Send:
Wall
Goodwin
Beverly
Rookie FA
TWolves Send:
Davis
Jackson
Samanic
McCollum
Smith
27 First

Still doesnt work.dennocj wrote:*Reworked* I checked this all out on excel and it kept us both under the cap while also both having enough players. So the reworked trade will be:

I broke this into two trades so you can see where it breaks down:
Trade 1:
Wall
for
Davis
McCollum
Smith
This puts the Pacers (-$34,416,840) & TWolves (-$34,525,468) in good standing
Trade 2:
Goodwin
Beverly
Rookie FA
($15,665,634)
for
Jackson
Samanic
($14,565,850)
This works for the Pacers but the Twolves will be over the cap by $625,252.
There needs to be a 3rd team that can absorb some salary and do a 2-1 trade with the Twolves to lower their cap number by the number above

Re: Timberwolves/Pacers
I wasn't seeing the salary in his cut players section. Damn. We'll get something figured out
