He's basically a year too late (would have been great depth for last year's team once Boucher went down) and a year too early (would have provided great leadership to a young 2019 team.) He's going to be forgotten too quickly.

Ducks lose 101-92 to finish the season at 23-13. Outscored Marquette by 13 in the 4th but just too large of a deficit to overcome.

And speaking of forgotten quickly, looks like Troy Brown scored 8 points in possibly his final game as a duck. We hardly knew ye...

T. Brown would be a nice piece next year if he was to stay. He could use some more time at this level. Now, E. Brown...don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Both Browns combined for only 13 total points. Both got taken out of the game by Marquette's D. McIntosh and White both had good showings which helped keep it close.

So far, for Altman at Oregon, these are the top 5 most points in losses:
2015: 99-108 OT @ WSU
2018: 92-101 Marquette QF NIT
2014: 91-100 @ CO.
2016: 87-91 @CO.
2012: 86-90 Washington QF NIT

That 2012 UW game was horrible homer officiating. UW shot like 40 FT's.

As for this season, I'll make a longer post to tie a bow soon. I do hope Troy Brown comes back. He's absolutely better off coming back, so I hope he gets good advice. He never played with consistent passion this year and he's going to spend 2-3 years in the G-league with his current skill level.
