Ionescu kinda being a ball hog this half. She’s forcing up some bad shots.

Ducks just getting killed down low. No answer, especially if they aren’t hitting 3’s.

Brutal shooting, a lot of them wide open in the second half. #23 is just abusing Oregon down low.

How do we lose to a coach named Muffin?

Very proud of this season, but very disappointed in this game. This was one of the worst rebounding efforts I’ve ever seen in a game, men’s and women’s. Notre Dame deserved this game way more than Oregon. Congrats to Notre Dame. Sabrina is amazing, but this second half showed she still needs to grow. She went full ballhog in the second half and forced up so many bad shots. Maybe next season they’ll make it to the Final Four!

Off their game tonight and still so proud of them. Mostly freshmen and sophomores. They will kill teams next year. Have to solve the open uncontested shots and the under the basket D.

Ten point loss. Too many miss close in shots. Not enuf scorers. Ionescu faded badly. Ruthie missed so many shots. four of fifteen from three point range and outrebounded fiftyone to twenty nine. Double damn damn. BUT 33-5!

Agree completely. Notre Dame won the game, controlled it all the way. Even with the Ducks ahead at the half, it really didn't seem like they were winning. But congrats ND, have fun with UCONN. Was a great season for the Ducks; will miss Bando, but the talent coming in is beyond impressive, MKA will be rockin' next season!rockthief wrote:Ten point loss. Too many miss close in shots. Notre Dame came out and bullied the ducks and the refs let them get away with it. Hate to say this but KG got out-coached in the second half and made no adjustments. Oregon stood around and watched as Notre Dame got every loose ball and way too many rebounds. Great season but this team has to get tougher to advance. I thought the Ducks should have went to man to man defense against the bigger but slower Irish. Great year though, very fun to watch.

With the loss of only 2 players and them adding ND transfer Boley, Nyarra Sabally, Taylor Chavez, Oregon could potentially be better next season. I imagine Satou will really make a big leap with a full off-season of conditioning and training.

The returning players need to get stronger this offseason in all their losses the common theme was getting pushed around inside by more physical teams.
