Wazzu left in debt by Moos' spending

WSU is facing over $80 million in debt by 2023 because of Moos' spending spree, due mainly to their new facilities and lower than expected TV revenues and donations. They do seem to have a plan in place to balance the books and repay their debts.

Moos has done a crap job everywhere he’s been. I feel bad for WSU.
To his credit, his strategy at WSU was clever. Spend big and swing for the fences. If and when things start going south, take another job and leave it to someone else to clean up the mess.
