According to Jake Weingarten (who covers BB recruiting for ScoopDuck), Oregon is getting a visit from JUCO G Chris Duarte. Currently down at Northwest Florida State College, he originally signed with Western Kentucky out of HS but was not a full academic qualifier due to some questions about his transcripts from his school in the Dominican Republic.

Interesting. ESPN had him as a point guard and 247 had him as a shooting guard. He looks like one of those Altman specials that can play 3 or 4 positions. Highlights.

Dude's got game. Great pickup for the Ducks.

Here's video of him from July and the 2017-18 season. He's got a really smooth stroke and seems to get to the rim pretty effortlessly.

He looks like a skilled player. Good shooting stroke, nice ball handling skills, good athlete. Combine that with good size for a guard and he will definitely be a welcomed addition.

Great news, like everybody else has said, he has size, can handle the ball, getting to the rim is a great asset.

He will need to get a little stronger to play in P-12, but he's got over a year to do that. Not sure about his defense.

Skill level in terms of dribbling/shooting/getting hoops is very high.
