Wow! I didn't think we would see them this year! Set the alarm for 5:45 coffee and watch game day! Nice start to a Saturday morning!

Is that verified? It looks like the only other really compelling game would be ASU @ UW, so I guess it makes sense.

Verified no, but that is the traditional slot on ABC for the Game Day pick.

Nothing is verified until next Saturday but why else would they put that game in the 5PM ABC slot if they weren’t coming? Barring us losing to SJSU or Stanford losing to UC-Davis, I’d wager they’re coming. It’s a compelling matchup with two Heisman candidates.

Dunno if you can spin the 2 Heisman Candidates since B. Love has fallen a bit down in the pecking order but would be a nice thing to have an early season showdown in the Pac-12 North (Especially after Stanford took the wind out of USC's sails for a bit). I would love to see if they could come back if UO runs the table until the game against UW. That would be a great game and hard to beat, especially if UO knocks off Stanford.

If Autzen can't find the old energy for this game then its a lost cause.

Just looked through that entire weekend schedule, there is no other top 20 matchup of undefeated teams that entire weekend.

It's gotta be a Gameday game. The only other good match-ups are Washington-Arizona State and Alabama-Texas A&M. They were just at the A&M game on Saturday, they're not undefeated, and Bama will have no shortage of opportunities. Arizona State is a hot name with Herm, but there's no way ESPN passes on Herbert vs. Love Heisman hype and what will be a top-10 team vs a top-20 team.

We're debating coming down Friday night and trying to get our butts up early enough to go to Gameday. If we do, I'll consider printing off either my Do Nothing snake logo or Miami 1991 National Champions sign to hold up. In any case the four of us will make the noise of 20 people, hopefully the old atmosphere felling of the Autzen Zoo returns.

It's so great to see our program back in the national spotlight. Win this game and the 'Oregon is Back' narratives will be out in full force.
