I am more concerned about whether our receivers will actually catch a ball that hits them in the hands or whether our running backs can run the ball effectively. Those are my two major concerns.

I agree. Love running and Arcega-Whiteside receiving are huge challenges for the defense. But, if Oregon's receivers continue to drop balls, and the running game doesn't approach 200 yards, Stanford will just control the clock and the game.

Hey if anyone wants to invite me to their tailgate tomorrow, I have a Penn State grad who has moved
to Oregon with me, plus my girlfriend and two other people with me. They’re all non drinkers, and three of us went to U of O. I’d love to show them a big game tailgate. We’ll be heading over after Track Town, if anyone would like to say hi let me know.

I’ll bring beer and my inside stories of doing recruiting graphics. Preview: offensive linemen are the nicest, and Helf’s staff didn’t know what a computer is. My girlfriend has stories from her time as a tutor for the football team. Previews: Cliff Harris was one of her favorites because of how hard he tried.

Well if there was any question about the crowd for game day, they sure answered it in spades. That place looks packed!

Seems pretty loud so far. Dye wresting the ball away from their tight end is a different outcome for the ducks. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

I'm just watching this and thinking the ducks look different so far. Matching their tight end with a big, bad, fast Troy Dye who rips the ball away, and then running the ball right up the gut for a TD as our offensive line bullies their DT's...maybe the narrative is changing. Great start.
