I actually thought that the Beavers might have been trending up until last week's home debacle vs. Arizona (outgained 442-97 on the ground!). Will be surprised if this is close into the fourth quarter.

ASU's defense is formidable. I think OSU struggles.

The Fighting Herms will take this one fairly easily.

They should, but this might be a trap game for Herm in that he's got to keep his team focused 1 game at a time and the beavs are always an easy one to overlook. Plus its a night game so the refs are going to do something stupid because witchcraft.

The Oregon State defense is horrifically awful. They won't win another game this season.

X2, I had hope for the Beavs until last week

Hard count gets the OSU NT to jump and he touches the Center, knocking him over. Quick all of you Amatuer Ref's is the answer A-Offsides or B-Encroachment?

Yes, the official got it wrong. I know it might be small but those are the details. Last night I was calling a game where the Kickoff Return Team fumbled the ball, and it was a clean scoop and score by the Opponent. I immediately knew the play was dead where the defense recovered the ball and it was hard to see the kids reaction at being told he didn't just score an awesome touchdown. he was pissed.

Surprised OSU is keeping it close. Both teams have absolutely no run defense as both OSU's Jermar Jefferson and ASU's Eno Benjamin have over 190 yards rushing and there's still 7 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

Beavers lost 52-24. They're improved on offense but their defense is still horrid. They gave up 302 yards and 3 TDs to Eno Benjamin

OSU can certainly run the ball but are an unequivocal mess on D. They finish out the season with Wazzu, Cal, Colorado, USC, Stanford, UW and Oregon. Is there a winnable game left for them?

Can't see it. It looks like there's a very good chance that the Beavers & Bruins will both go 0-9. The Ducks have a Bye this week; the Huskies have the next best thing, a game against UCLA.
