Can this be the game that Chip gets his team turned around? We can only hope, but pretty unlikely. Still, I think if the Bruins play with passion (not, "we're 0-4; we stink"), they could surprise UW a bit and make it a game longer than people would expect.

UW may as well have a bye week by playing UCLA.

UCLA is so bad. They might not win a game this year. vs Arizona is probably their best chance.

Well, Huskies got a first down, then the Bruins forced a punt. Bruins fumbled, but recovered, on their first play.

UW is in control but UCLA is playing hard

If they can match points until halftime they can stay in the game

Not sure it's winnable

Kinda surprised by how close the Bruins are keeping this. Either they're getting much better or UW just isn't as good as I thought.

I think UW came in thinking they could take the game off

UCLA is hanging around but uw has been in control the entire time

I think that the Huskies aren't nearly as good as they were last year, Pettis was a stud; great receiver and punt returner. Washington's secondary is good, but their front 7 is ordinary. The BYU, 35-7 game last week was thought to be impressive; until you see a week later, Utah State beat BYU, 45-20, and we remember then game against Utah, when the Utes made mistake after mistake after mistake to give the Huskies the win.

I'm just glad that UCLA gave UW a game and the Huskies couldn't rest their starters. It looks like Gaskin was having a shoulder issue at the end so it'll be interesting to see if he's fully healed by next week.

Yes, we'll be fresh and hopefully they'll be feeling rough at the edges

I do think we could come out and hammer them
