The Ducks will be playing ASU at Autzen. ASU hasn't won a road game yet. While it is conceivable the Ducks could lose, I would rank the ASU game far below the WSU and Utah games in terms of danger level.
Perhaps lost in the euphoria of Saturday's win was the fact that it was the third straight game that the offense was limited to 7 points in the second half. Granted, UW was the strongest defense the Ducks have faced to date, so it may not be AS big a deal in this latest instance. But I'd really like to see a strong second half offensively in a conference game. We'll probably need it this week.
I want to go on record saying Oregon will win by 21ish points. I’m confident they manhamdle WSU both sides of the ball . I predict it’s somethonf like 55-28 Oregon.
I would love it if we score 50 against them but with the way that we are playing I don't see another 50 point performance on the table outside of the Beavers. That's not a bad thing, but we are often running 65-70 plays in a game. Back in say 2013 I think both us and Wazzu ran over 100 each.
Oregon always has a tough time in Pullman. You put that with them having a bye week before us and this game becomes really scary. They will be totally ready for Oregon especially with college game day in town. I think the idea that it will be to much for them is ludicrous. They will want to put on a good performance and will be more than ready for Oregon. I still think Oregon wins. This is going to be a hard fought game. Fortunately for Oregon they have 3 tough games to fall back on and rely on that experience of being in a hard fought game. Hopefully the last one has not taken to much out of Oregon.
