Tyler Huntley will miss the rest of the regular season with a broken collar bone. Utah couldn't score against ASU after he went down, the backup is not good (he went 4/11 for 59 yards with 0 TDs and 1 INT).

Utah still has a good power running game, but this game just got a lot easier.

With Huntley out, Utah just became one dimensional. They don’t have a legit backup QB.

Good thing that isn’t an accurate description of our team.

Oh, wait. Uh oh.

Yeah, at least we have a legit chance now. If not for their QB situation, I would have viewed our odds of victory as being somewhere between slim and none. Of course, we also have an uncanny knack for making struggling and/or replacement quarterbacks look like future Heisman winners.

We have also score a whopping 8 points in the first half of the last two road games. Saturday did nothing to show Oregon is any better. UCLA gift wrapped and put a bow on the game to give us the win. Almost all of Oregon's points came as a result of the bruins mistakes. None of UCLA points came as a result of Oregon's mistakes and we still gave up 21. If Utah makes no mistakes then they will likely still win. I am sure coach for them will be talking about making no mistakes against Oregon.

Well, it's a 3 squad effort

Last week defense played well except for 2-3 bonehead plays

STs played pretty well too

That won the game

Oregon wins if they show up, and gets beat in frustrating fashion if they play like they're in Tucson.

Jeez. You are all a bunch of sourpusses. Reading these boards the last few days, I would have thought the team lost the game, not won by 21 points. Yes, UCLA isn't great, and Oregon should have won, but UCLA isn't as bad as their record makes it seem. They have played one of the toughest schedules in the country. Their OOC consisted of 3 Top 25 teams and they've played 0 teams with a losing record. That's tough for a rebuilding team. Hell, before the game I saw a number of posts saying that Chip would run circles around this staff with his game plan!

Yes, UCLA made mistakes, but Oregon also capitalized on those mistakes. We saw some new wrinkles in the offense, with the swing passes, and WR screen, which was what people were clamoring for last week. Nothing earth shattering, but it shows that they are making adjustments, and not just running it up the gut on 1st down. At the beginning of the year, we would have been thrilled with a 9-3 season, and it's very possible right now. Yet, people are still up in arms. It's ridiculous how spoiled this fan base has gotten. I agree the Arizona game was a mess, but that's just one of those games that can happen with a young team, especially on the road. This team is still a little short on depth, so it's not surprising that this late in the season there have been some struggles.

Obviously this team struggles on the road, but they did beat this same Utah team last year by 21 with Braxton Burmeister at the helm, and the year prior with true freshman, Justin Herbert. I think it's ridiculous that people are stating that they now only have a chance, because Huntley went down. Does it help? Absolutely, but they're still only facing a slightly above average team, not Alabama.

Yeah seriously, why aren't we at Bama or Clemsons level already?

We don’t have bagmen and run a clean ship. No illicit payments or under the table dealings, unlike those scoundrels in the south.

Updated depth chart. Looks like Niu and Simms have surpassed Apelu, unless he is injured which I might have missed on Saturday. Not seeing anything else of note.

Apelu missed the 2nd half of the UCLA game with an injury so it looks like he's still injured.
