IMO I think kliff is trying to set himself up to take over the interim HC role if\when Helton gets the boot and take over as head man at usc.SuperDuck wrote:I think it would be a bad move on Kingsbury's part because of Helton being on the hot seat. Re: Coaching Carousel
Not sure that would be a good plan. If the offense does well the team wins and Helton doesn't get fired, if the offense tanks KK doesn't have the results to get promoted. The interim position would probably go to Clancy Pendergast with his 4-5 years experience at SClukeyrid13 wrote:

I'm surprised that Harsin hasn't been in consideration for any of these openings. Maybe a team like Louisville goes after him?

I think it's because he typically says "No" when the search firms and/or ADs come calling.pdxduck2013 wrote:I'm surprised that Harsin hasn't been in consideration for any of these openings. Maybe a team like Louisville goes after him?

With the return of Miles and Brown, it feels like senior day at the park for the carousel this year. Nothing exciting, just a bunch of re-treads.

Hilarious to read FSU fans talking about how hard it is on the program to lose a coach before signing day.

Watched a lot of their games, that wasn't a very productive unit. Did no one else want to coach at UMass ?greenyellow wrote:Taggart is losing his OC Walt Bell, as he's been named UMass' new HC:

It sounds like he didn't get much control early, since it was Willy and his "lethal simplicity" but was given more control later in the season and they actually looked like they had a pulse. Not exactly a glowing review but... not as bad as Willy made him look.FlDuckFan wrote:Watched a lot of their games, that wasn't a very productive unit. I just really hope they strike out on his replacement.

Willie was the playcaller until late in the season. Bell was going to be replaced anyways but whoever they hire is still going to be hamstrung by Taggart.karlhungis wrote:It sounds like he didn't get much control early, since it was Willy and his "lethal simplicity" but was given more control later in the season and they actually looked like they had a pulse. Rumors say he’s going after the Man of the Lord (and hookers) himself, Donald Tru...I mean Hugh Freeze. Don’t forget, Willie is a man of integrity. Get a DUI like Reaves at Oregon and you’re gone but get caught via FOIA requests using your state issued phone for hookers, good enough for Willie.
