ECU canned its coach, probably not a surprise.

Re: Coaching Carousel
Negotiating tactic for more $$$ or waiting to see what happens with the Alabama OC possibly opening? The resume looks a lot better with Nick Sabin on it instead of Clay Helton.greenyellow wrote:

Re: Coaching Carousel
KSU HC Bill Snyder may step down as coach within the next week. While Leavitt covets this job, he's not a shoe-in since the HCs at North Texas and North Dakota State are viewed as even more attractive contenders.

It's the silly season.greenyellow wrote:
Amid multiple reports that Colorado plans to hire Georgia defensive coordinator Mel Tucker following today’s SEC Championship game, Colorado has issued a statement.
“Rick (George) has not offered the head coaching position to anyone at this point; he is still in the discussion and evaluation stages and won’t make a decision on a final candidate until early next week.”

Re: Coaching Carousel
Snyder may announce his retirement later today:
Jim McElwain to Central Michigan:
Gary Andersen potentially returning to Utah State but it could also be just be fake news:
Kingsbury may end up in the NFL for remainder of season:

Re: Coaching Carousel
I think it would be a bad move on Kingsbury's part because of Helton being on the hot seat. He may be looking for a job again after just one year.greenyellow wrote:Looks like Kingsbury is close to being USC's new OC:
