Oregon's guards just seem to get out of control way too often on drives. That's like the 4th or 5th drive that's resulted in either a turnover or offensive foul.

It's only a charge on one side of the court. Block against Houston, charge against Oregon.

With Richardson really coming on, they'll be really good with another scorer and a better understanding of how to run their halfcourt offense.

They really needed that three from Richardson to drop. Think that may be the ballgame. Too bad they didn't have this type of energy in the first half.

Oregon within 5 after Bol is fouled on a dunk and makes the FT.

Houston trying to give this game away with missed FTs, turnovers, and bad fouls.

At least they fought til the end, proud of them for fighting! Glad to see Richardson figure it out. But just can’t dig such a deep hole in the first half, learn from the football team ducks!

After a furious rally, Oregon comes up just short as Houston wins 65-61. Team showed some heart and grit in trying to come back but that first half really did them in.

Yes, much better feeling after this one than against TX. SO. Richardson is emerging. But the energy is a puzzle. It doesn't look like any change in strategy, simply more energy, enthusiasm in the players, the rebounding in particular.

Part of rebounding is having the energy and hustle to go after them. That was lacking the first half but showed up big time in the second half. They also had much more active hands in the passing lanes, causing Houston to have problems getting into their offensive sets. Oregon is really just having a hard time putting together two solid halves like they had against Syracuse in NYC.

This performance gives me hope that if King is in basketball shape anytime soon, his scoring ability will be a big difference in how the team performs, King>White.

Oregon football and basketball have the same curse. They both can only play 1 half of a game.

It’s pretty sad that we haven’t even seen King play yet but we know he’s a huge upgrade over White.

Can’t state it enough. Coming down the floor, is there any player you really feel comfortable spotting up? PP maybe. No reliable shooters on this team.
