Glad to hear that. It’s the smart thing for a multitude of reasons. The most important of which is actually doing the right thing for the kid.
'The right thing' is kind of subjective. Aside from the fact that he is volunteering to be the backup, burning his redshirt would mean he is actually playing in his fifth game of the season, and in a bowl game to boot. If that is the wrong thing for the kid, then maybe all players should be redshirting, whether they want to or not?

Unsurprisingly, the helmets have green decals on the back to match the green jerseys and accessories. This is the combo I’ve been waiting to see all season, and it was definitely worth the wait. I’m hoping this a sign of things to come next season, where they’re more open to doing some tasteful mixing and matching instead of sticking with the monochrome combos.

Clint Eastwood or Sean Connery would have been a nice touch... Problem with Cage'n it, is some peeps might want o throw away the key.
