Helmet stickers

turned on Mich/Florida and noticed that almost every Michigan players' helmet is covered with them. What, do they get a sticker for attending practice? Less is more and when your helmet is covered with them it's almost like it's a part of the logo. Same with "the" Ohio State. Glad we don't have them.

Could be worse, Cristobal could give out a turnover backpack!

Yeah we don't need to emulate Miami or FSU. Tacky is putting it mildly...

I know my HS football coaches used to do them, awarding them for things like getting INTs, TDs, fumble recoveries, 5+ tackles, 5+ catches, and pancake blocks.
Oregon used to do helmet stickers back under Brooks all the way through the 1994 season but Bellotti discontinued it the following season. Many more schools used to do it but I think the era of having multiple helmets has also really hastened the end of the tradition. That's why I don't mind seeing them on select schools who continue the tradition.

I loved helmet stickers on my NCAA football teams back when they still made the game.
