I hope this is just a case of idiot Dawg fans (are there any other type?) pulling crap out of their a$$e$ or making up bogus twitter media handles to post #fakenews and rile Duck fans up for nothing.

Ugh...wish it was back in the days of Country cable when you only had channels 2, 6, 8, 10 and 13/49. Then you'd hear rumors when they actually were reality and had happened.

Is there confirmation he was fired? Or Leavitt's own decision?

Outside of Bama, very few staff's have this kind of turnover and are successful. Clemson and UW have done great jobs keeping their staffs together.

Agular is saying the ad's office says leavitt is in the hdc working.

This very well might be the first major boneheaded move of Cristobal's career, that's a huge dagger to the defense. I truly don't understand the drama when he drastically improved our defense after the Helfrich era mess he inherited. He'll be missed, that's for sure.

Ew... It'd be nice to have a head coach, OC, and DC that stick around for more than a couple years.

Hopefully doesn't come as a huge shock to our recruits.

You think Cristobal fired him? Why would he do that? Said he had to re-evaluate the offense this offseason but instead of firing the OC, he fires the DC? Doesn't make any sense.

I meant to say that as if he did fire him which some reports make it seem like that's a possibility, others say Leavitt chose to move on, so who really knows what's true right now. But IF Cristobal did fire him or chased him off in any way, then I'd consider this a boneheaded move from Cristobal. I did hear rumblings before this that Cristobal and Leavitt didn't get along well which people on this forum posted but I just didn't believe they were true, but after this, looks like they were.

My guess is he's leaving, this is a hell of a lot of smoke for there to be no fire. Either way, I'm sure we'll get certainty within the next hour or two.
