three quality starts from our rotation and our ace didn’t pitch an inning. the pen seems to be slowly working itself out — walker and ahlstrom look like keepers. i’m assuming we haven’t seen much of somers and brehault because they were being saved for a pair of sunday games that both ended up canceled? somers only got in once against tech. i thought they were our two best freshmen last year.
