Several bubble teams won big games against tournament locks today. The ducks have no chance of making the tournament without beating both ASU (which it looks like they won't) and Washington.greenyellow wrote:UW advances to the final with the 66-61 win over Colorado. With the Buffs out of the running to take a tourney spot, Oregon getting to the championship game may be enough to get the Ducks into the Tournament. Only complicating thing is Gonzaga losing in their conference tournament, taking away an at-large spot now that the WCC will have 2 teams in.

Relying on winning four games in four nights was never a good plan for getting into the dance.
Not sure what you are taking issue with, unless it is the part in parentheses where I said it looked like they wouldn't beat ASU. At the time I posted, the Sun Devils had just started the second half on an 18-3 run. Even Altman said after the game that they were dragging. I'm as happy as anyone that the Ducks turned it around.Bighonkingduck wrote:Phalanx wrote:Several bubble teams won big games against tournament locks today.
