A Washington fan has a fake account called "College football quotes" that gave Cristobal a few "smacktalk" quotes and attributed them to Cristobal via Rob Moseley and GoDucks.com. Spreading through Auburn players and fanbase. Please report if you see them.

I'm all for smacktalk, but not completely fabricated quotes.

Moseley posted the dms from the conversation with the account and the kid tried to lie about the quote a bunch..then said, "oh, so Mario is retracting his quote, I didn't see that."

Rob told him he'd be happy to send the conversation to his journalism professor at UW.

I’ve got a group of friends going, so we know there will be at least five Ducks there haha.

I would have loved to go, but I’m going to be at Disneyland a few days after so I would have been crucified if I took more time off.

The Auburn crowd is going to dwarf ours, but I hope there are enough Texas Ducks and West Coast people going to give us a good showing. I don’t like these neutral site games, but I can’t argue with the money and exposure they bring.

I'll be there with my Father (who is from Eugene) and brother cheering on the ducks who are my defacto #2 team. Taking my dad to his first Oregon game!

Does anyone have any idea which team will be the home team for this game? I'm hoping the ducks will be sporting all-green uni's with Auburn their classic all-white uni's.

Also, tailgating. I'd love to tailgate with some fellow duck fans.

Oregon is 14-10 all-time in games in which College GameDay is in attendance...Auburn is 9-9 when College GameDay visits.

Interesting that not only does Oregon have a better winning percentage, 58% to 50%, but more GameDay appearances overall.

I live in Dallas, so I'll definitely be going. I assume Auburn will bring a ton of fans, but does anyone know which sections Ducks fans will be in? I'd like to buy tickets, but I'd rather not be in a section completely surrounded by Auburn fans.

Found this by accident on the Auburn 247 board:

"Auburn believes it could have program's best defense in a decade"

https://247sports.com/college/auburn/Ar ... 133785007/

Guess we'll see, eh?

I personally think, "This could be a Slobber-Knocker"... (RIP, Keith Jackson)

Man, I miss that guy calling games!

An important facet of the Oregon offense that will test Auburn's defense

I think we'll see a lot of short passes to the RB, TE and WR.

Though it would seem odd, I think Auburn will try to shut down the run and force Herbert, with his inexperienced and unproven WRs, to throw the ball. You can be certain that they're watching a lot of film from our Bowl win over Michigan State. The only guy that scored a TD in that game, Dillon Mitchell, is gone. We need Juwan Johnson to lead by example and hold onto the ball.

On the other side of the ball, our defense needs to slow their running game and make their new QB throw the ball, too. Like us, Auburn has some good RBs. Those guys also have 5 seniors starting on their O-Line, so that will certainly be a challenge for the Duck defense.

It just might turn out to be a slugfest.
