I 100% agree. Sucks cause they should’ve learned after last season but better late than never. Hope this is the offense we see the rest of the season, if so they should beat everybody but I’ll stick win my 12-2 prediction.pezsez1 wrote:Seriously, I wonder if Auburn was the wakeup call MC needed to always go for the throat. For him to go for it on fourth down three times on a drive while up by 55-ish points seems like something he wouldn't have done last year.

Johnson, Funa, and Thibodeaux look dang good! Oregon just needs to get a dominant Nose Tackle to replace Scott and in two years Oregon is gonna have an incredible front seven!

I'm thinking that our defense may be heading for Gang Green Territory. It's an old song that may make a comeback

I loved the command of the offense he had. Albeit Nevada I think he’s going to be solid for us in the future. I also loved how the second teams played on defense. Back with chip the defense would have given up late points and looked awful but man you can see the depth being built there.rockthief wrote:Shough played with composure.

It was great to see the backups come in and keep the offense going.

What can a coach say to his team after a 71 point loss?

Serious question... When was the last time Oregon held anyone to 0 in the second half while scoring a ton of points with the second string?

Kudos to the coaches for allowing Shough to actually operate the full (or close enough) offense, rather than do nothing but hand it off. Rather than garbage time being reduced to a complete waste for everyone involved, Shough gained some useful experience today.

I would just like to brag a little, after the loss I said this was going to be a pissed off dangerous train and Nevada was going to pay the price. (Not exact words)
