Yeah, the forecast is for rain in Seattle on Saturday. I think the game plan will be more conservative than a lot of people would like regardless. By far the weakest part of the Washington defense thus far this season has been the linebackers, and the strength has been the secondary. They have done very well against normally pass heavy teams, particularly at home (Hawaii and USC). The Trojans started running the ball on the Huskies after they figured out they were keeping their safeties 20 yards deep and wound up rushing for over 200 yards. If the Huskies stick with keeping their safeties ultra-deep against the Ducks (which they might not, since they certainly don't respect our receivers as much as USC's), we simply have to punish them on the ground.

It does come out as Offense 101. Get the running game going & open up the passing. Pittman might not get 200, but if he can make some big plays, the Huskies could be forced to change their plan a bit.

Yeah I think a lot of check-downs to Pittman will be key. Unfortunately, the drop from Breeland to Kampmoyer is going to hurt for sure.
