It will be a very UN-Civil War
We all know what the Ducks just did in the desert. The Beavs have a different type of pain to deal with. Down by 11 twice in the 2nd half, after leading by 3 at the half, they scored 29 in the 4th quarter and led by 11. But, they end up losing, literally in the last second, 54-53.
WSU is now bowl eligible. The Beavs still need a W

I really like whatSmith has going in Corvallis, there is a lot on the line for both the Ducks and Beavs. Despite all the negative post I firmly believe the Ducks fell into the trap game and didn’t come in hungry. I think the Ducks come in hungry and angry and win but I also believe the Beavs will become a force in the PAC 12 North especially if the boosters can get some cash flow going to update the facilities.
Ducks win but not the normal CW of recent years.

Having the Beavers be competitive and having a lot to play for helps the Ducks in a way, There should be no lack of attention or purpose for the Ducks in this one. 1-0 Ducks.

If the ducks play like they did yesterday they would have a hard time beating a high school team let alone a division 1 rivalry. I trust they wont. I would like to see some accountability from the players and coaches and not coach speak. The pass defense was atrocious and the 4 yr starter in Herbert was beyond atrocious. That is a recipe for a sure loss. I would expect more out of Herbert and would have yanked his ass after the first interception. The message would be clear that mediocre play or horrible play is not acceptable.

Why do some insist on yanking players like Herbert after one mistake like an INT? With how the team had done so far in the season, you trust him to help right the ship. If not, that doesn't send the best message to the rest of the team.

Looks like the Civil War got relegated to the Pac-12 Network once again:

Good! Decent start time and the regular amount of time to prepare.

That's quite the insult from Fox to take the Crapple Cup over the Civil War.

Given that they are played on different days, I'm not sure Fox had much choice.OregonFan4Life wrote:That's quite the insult from Fox to take the Crapple Cup over the Civil War.
