I'm guessing the "fat little girlfriends" spoiled his master plan again.

I think conference bowl record is overrated anyways. People barely remember it by the next season, which is when it would actually matter. It's just a talking point for a few weeks then it mostly disappears.

I agree with the above poster. Bowl record should matter, but doesn't. If it did, the SEC wouldn't be as highly regarded.

Also, not much in the way of upsets so far this bowl season in general.

Texas is just beating up on Utah at this point...and they are getting tOSU's passing game coordinator as their OC and Chris Ash as their DC next year. I think it's gonna continue to get harder for us to recruit in Texas.

Is it true the loser of the Pac-12 championship game has yet to win a bowl game, going 0-9?

Pretty much all Pac 12 South teams. The one year USC beat Stanford, the Trojans lost 7-24 to Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl. You might as well say that all Pac 12 South champions went on to lose their bowl games. The Pac 12 South is a weak division and they need to step up their game.

As fun as it is to match up the north against the south for the pac12 championship, I feel they should actually have the best two teams in the Pac12 play against each other in the championship game. This will allow the league to put forth its best two teams for its top bowl games and not a weak pac12 south team, which is at best 3or4th best team in the pac12 in most years.
