Akeem Olajuwon B+ C+ C- B B A
Emigrated from Nigeria to play basketball at the University of Houston. Was never highly recruited but worked his tail to be one of the top prospects in a very talented draft class. High value shooter with an outside touch. Amazing shot blocker. Good jump shot. Great strength. Amazing footwork and fundamentals. Can guard the paint and perimeter well. Whichever GM has number one pick will have a very tough decision to make. Amazing potential

Sam Bowie B- C- D+ C+ B+ A
Bowie is a top prospect in the draft. Due to being an injury risk, Bowie’s stock fell. Bowie only played in 3 seasons during his 5 year time at Kentucky. Solid offensive game. Can score in the post or step back for a mid range jumper. Will need to improve on athleticism to last a full 82 game schedule. Strong rebounder. Solid all around defender. Great potential

Melvin Turpin C+ C C C+ C+ A
No question Turpin can score the ball. Lead the SEC in scoring last season but will he be able to score like that against the elite. Solid athleticism. Good in the pick and roll. Good jump shot. Picks his shot well. Rarely will he take a bad shot. Good strength. Good shot blocker. Overall, amazing raw potential

Tim McCormick B- C- C- B B D
Ready now. Good athlete. Good strength. Solid jump shot but will need to work on free throws. Good rebounder. Very good defender. May not get a lot of blocks or steals. Plays physical inside the paint and fights for every rebound. Limited potential

Earl Jones B- C- C- C C A
Division II player so still a very much unknown player. Great skill set, good size and length. Amazing athlete. Good at scoring the ball around the paint. Good post defender. Will need to improve on fundamentals. Will have to spend the off season bulking up to withstand the physical play. Great potential

Stuart Gray C+ C- D- B+ C+ B
Top end defensive player with very good strength. Struggles to finish at the rim but possesses a good jump shot. Capable shot blocker to go along with his man defense. Good potential.

Tony Costner C D- D- C+ C+ B
Projects as a defensive bench option who will need a season to hone his skills. Good at generating turnovers and playing ok defense but needs to hit the weight room. Good technique at grabbing rebounds despite his lack of size. Good potential.

Greg Wiltjer C+ D+ D+ C C A
Relative unknown but dominated the Canadian basketball circuit. There is a major jump from the Canadian leagues to the DASL so you will need to patient with his development. Great frame and build with his shot blocking ability providing a ready now skill but everything else needs proper coaching. Great potential.

Jim Petersen C- D B+ B- C
Excellent post defender who can come in now and provide minutes for any team. Not much of a scorer but is reliable from the free throw line. Average potential.

Eddie Lee Wilkins C D+ D- B- B- B
Solid player who can do everything defensively just not at a high level currently. Scoring leaves a lot to be desired but did show improvement at the rim last season so if he can continue developing that, he should stay in the league for some time. Good potential.
