Sam Vincent C+ C C+ C C A
Vincent’s playmaking ability creates easy scoring opportunities for his teammates, but he needs to improve his ball-handling to create for himself. Has the tools to become an elite point guard. Still needs time to develop those skills. Can drive the ball well. Solid jump shot. Defensively, he can get steals. Needs to work on guarding perimeter and on the drive. Great potential

Terry Porter C+ C+ B- B- D B
Ready now prospect with an array of skills. He’s lightening quick with the ball and excels at taking his man off the dribble and getting to the rim. Good ball handles. Good outside shot. Good shot selection. Vocal leader on and off the court. Tough defender who has the fundamentals to guard more talented point guards. Good potential

Rolando Lamb C C B- C D B
More of a pure point. Rarely shoots the ball. Will knock down open shots and will hit easy lay ups. Defensively, he needs to focus more on the perimeter. Plays in transition well. At this point, he’s still not fully developed. He’s a very capable passer who is willing to get his teammates involved. Good potential

Vernon Moore B- C C+ C+ D C
Moore has the talent to be a starting guard. He shows good court awareness and heads-up passing ability while also being able to take over games with his scoring. Scouts worry if he can stay focus when the game is close. Tends to lose control in crucial moments. Solid handles. Good at stealing the ball. Overall, solid potential

Michael Adams C+ C+ C+ C D B
Even though he can run an offense, Adams doesn't need to have the ball to make an impact. Great scoring abilities. He may never be the guy who will take 10-15 shots a game. Can knock down the wide open shots. Even with deeper range. Solid ball handler. Great at setting up other teammates. Defensively, he still is a project but scouts feel with his skill set they can get him locking down opponents. Good potential

Fred Cofield B- C+ C C D B
Slashing point guard who prefers scoring than distributing. Good handles but passing needs work as he always look for the open lane than finding the open teammate in space. Has the ability to score outside the paint but he wont be effective until he works on his form. Good potential.

Spud Webb B C- C+ C D- B
Smallest player in the draft but has the best hops in this draft. Wowed everyone while at NC State with his leaping ability, what stood out to scouts though was his ability to get to the rim and finish despite his small frame. Very good looking jump shot but anything outside the perimeter, forget about it. Handles need work as taller players are able to get their hands in his way. Good passer. Very good potential.

Dexter Shouse C C+ B- C D B
Older player but one of the best passers in the class. Very good athleticism for the position but more of a floor general type of point guard. Needs to work on his handles to become a starting player. Ok looking shooting form but he has the ability to score outside the paint. Good potential.
