And he did it just a few hours before kickoff. Great game focus, eh?

Maybe the good christian values are intended as a missionary experience... Seems like at one point BB made the comment that in comparing whether Oregon or Miami fit him better, he stated that Oregon was the easier choice for his lifestyle.

Re: Another reason to attend Tennessee
This might not be a direct tie, but if memeory serves, I read that one of their recruiting techniques was to have the lights drop, play loud music to get the kids pumped up and have one of the coaches give a hyped-up shouting speach that was finished it off by ripping his shirt off. Old Hulk Hogan style I suppose. The recruit said a lot of the recruits went wild at that, while some of the others where kind of - "what the"?
My take is, Tennesee is appealing to a lot of young kids with hype recruiting/smack talking pump-up stuff, but what kinds of kids are buying it, that is the question?

Re: Another reason to attend Tennessee
Oregon loses some top recruits from time to time because they don't lie or use dirty gimmicks, etc. I am OK with losing out on those recruits because in the end I would rather have a clean program with good kids than a bunch of criminals just to win a few extra games. I know every program including Oregon has had kids get into trouble with the law, but some programs have more problems then others.

The funny part about this is that 4 days later Kiffin said that Tennessee hadn't had any off the field problems. Just another example of his lies.

In the NFL, maybe that is interpreted as no off field problems.
