Good to hear they are all back from the bug! Now get back to work so the Ducks can lay the smackdown on the kittycats! ;)

Per RM via Twitter ~

Morgan Flint wins the day again, with an extra point to break a tie in the clutch scenario.

Barner is still sidelined with the quad injury but he is also wearing a boot with an ankle injury. It sounds like there is a good chance of seeing Blount this weekend as Alston and Crenshaw will probably not be able to get it done as well as Barner is able to.

“We’ve been outstanding,” Chip Kelly said of the week so far. “Guy have really been focused. They understand how important a game Saturday’s is.”

If Barner isn't healthy, who returns kicks? TJIII?

I kinda don't want a DB returning kicks since we are already banged up in the defensive backfield.

Defense looked really good and are ready to play. Ward and Matthews looked really good.

A side note that Gabe King took in practice earlier in the week

But as someone said, can we afford to risk another Dback? What about Crenshaw or Alston? Guess we won't know until Saturday.

Is this a personal observation or another source? The only thing I have read about him was a mention some time ago from Moseley that he had a problem with putting the ball on the ground. Anyone know if he has gotten better with that?

When he dropped that pick six against ASU, my first two thoughts were a) this kid has great DB instincts and b) it's a good thing we don't have him fielding kicks yet.

I also worry about him getting killed on a return being so slight. I don't want him hurt because I see him having a big game at corner against UA's short passing game.

Crenshaw is back there with Barner on kick returns so maybe he moves to being the main returner but I am not sure after him who they go to. Maybe one of the receivers? Holland would be a good choice because of his speed and last year he fielded some kicks.
