Ya I liked Oberto a lot. Was thinking about him at 13 before trading.Cellar-door wrote:lot of what should be solid bigs this year. Went with Oberto because he seems like he's got a nice solid floor in defense/rebounding. Probably won't be a star barring some weird TC spike, but he looks to me like a potential starter.

I almost took him at 17 too but I got a special affinity towards Blount from early NBA live gamesUOducksTK1 wrote:Ya I liked Oberto a lot. His notes read as "super raw but has really high jumping"pistolpetejr wrote:I was surprised Daniels lasted as long as he did tbh

"Amazing raw"
"Amazing athleticism with < B inside"
"Teams will probably have to play him at SG because of turnovers" (except Penny apparently)
"Elite rim protector without any shot blocking notes"

So you’re saying you wouldn’t have taken TMac at 3?;)offtheheezy wrote:My must-avoid-5% success rate death tagslukeyrid13 wrote:His notes read as "super raw but has really high jumping"pistolpetejr wrote:I was surprised Daniels lasted as long as he did tbh

Re: 1997 Draft Discussion
Normally someone with TMac's ratings aren't labeled "Amazing raw"... he's actually one of the first ones I've seen with good initial ratings and that tag. Normally they're all C's with amazing raw and then they're out of the league after their rookie dealpistolpetejr wrote:So you’re saying you wouldn’t have taken TMac at 3?;)offtheheezy wrote:My must-avoid-5% success rate death tagslukeyrid13 wrote:His notes read as "super raw but has really high jumping"pistolpetejr wrote:I was surprised Daniels lasted as long as he did tbh
